Both of my teachers were gone this week and while I knew there wasn't going to be anything that I was able to help with, I wanted to go to see how the students reacted to a sub.
I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting the students to get a lot louder and reckless but instead it seemed like the class got quieter as a whole. They had assignments to work on and it wasn't like they all were working on it but they weren't crazy. I don't think that the sub really had more control over the class, the students just weren't being loud and complaining like they usually were. I'm not sure why or if its like that with every sub but it was very interesting to me.
