Technology Standards

There are many different technology standards that I would like to work on as I go through this class and also as I go throughout my education.
I would love to get to know the interactive whiteboards more. I don't have one in the classroom I am observing now but that doesn't mean I won't ever have a chance to use one during my career. I think that the interactive whiteboards can really help in student learning.
I also would like to become more knowledgeable about the computer as a whole. I know how to work Word, Power Point, Excel, and Publisher. But I would like to know better how to fix different problems that may come up when working with the computer. It has always been frustrating always relying on others to try and fix problems I may have with my computer. Granted, I know there is no way to become completely tech savy and build a computer from scratch or to fix problems that only the super tech people can fix but to be able to troubleshoot small problems would be nice.
I would also like to become more familiar with different technology techniques that can be used in the classroom. I'm not even sure what all is out there but I would like to learn some of them.
